Theme: "The relations of consumption in times of change: an agenda of harmony, collaboration and evolution"
The "The Age of Dialogue" initiative represents an innovative vision of consumer advocacy. In the last two years, the Brazilian Symposium on Consumer Protection has brought together relevant and very productive discussions that have brought the agenda of companies, state agencies, including PROCONs and regulatory agencies closer together.
In 2019, the event will bring an essential agenda aimed at fighting the polarization that so afflicts consumer relations and the consequent adoption of a path of mutual collaboration between companies, consumers and public authorities. The symposium will also address the digital revolution taking place at this new moment in the country. It is time to reduce conflicts and litigation and re-emphasize dialogue and understanding in search of a more complete harmonization between all protagonists of consumer relations. That is why this year we will focus on the need for a more mature and innovative vision for times of social, political, economic and behavioral change. We will also focus on new issues and their impact on consumer protection, such as the effects of the LGPDP (General Data Protection Act). These issues unite and resize those already traditional that involve contracts, assurance, collection problems, among others. How can companies use technology in favor of greater security and transparency in their relationship with consumers?
Come and participate in this dialogue.
